EXPORTING YOUR VIDEO FILE

Sermonspice.com has a simple system that allows you to upload your films directly from your computer. The source file is sent first to our video encoder and a flash preview and three download formats are exported. Those files are gathered and sent to the Sermonspice Staff. Below is a detailed description of what we recommend for exporting your file.

- Video format: MOV with H.264 CODEC
- Audio format: mp3
- Bit-rate: 2 Mbps
- Resolution: 720 x 480
- 30 frames per second
- De-interlaced

- MAXIMUM SIZE: 600Mb

These settings are not stringent guidelines. We successfully encode other formats, such as AVI or MPEG. What we request is the highest quality possible. Below is a complete list of both video and audio codecs that we accept.

- Video: Sorenson 3, mpeg4, xvid, flv, h263, mjpeg, mpeg1video, mpeg2video, qtrle, svq3
- Audio: mp2, aac, pcm, amr_nb, ac3, vorbis, flac, pcm_u8





NAMING YOUR FILE

There are certain rules that you should keep in mind when sending us your files. The nomenclature guidelines are there for your benefit. Neglecting to follow the naming rules may result in your file failing to export during the encoding process, or post improperly to the website. The consistency, aids staff members in handling your work, setting up, and fixing your campaigns.

When you sign up as a filmmaker on Sermonspice.com, you are assigned an ID number. This number is used to categorize your films and identify your work, paperwork, and account. It is only used by the staff when handling your videos.

Please include your ID number followed by an underscore before every file that you send to us. (1367_samplevideo.mov)

Filenames cannot include:
- Spaces (use an underscore if needed)
- Symbols ( ? ! @ & # $ % )
- Punctuation ( . , : ; )

OR, EXCEED 30 characters.
